What appears in a juried exhibition is a combination of what the artist decides to submit for jurying and what the juror(s) decide to accept for the exhibition. As a beginner I have found it instructive to learn what appeals to the jurors - almost always it has been what I consider my most adventurous work that gets accepted. For this portfolio I have chosen one work (often the work) from each of the juried exhibitions I have been in, except that all works receiving awards have been included. All the works in this portfolio also appear in one of the others, too.
